Welcome to Oromo Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (OCELC) Webpage. We are Oromo speaking Evangelical Church in Bay Area. The church service is every Sunday morning from 10am to 1pm. Worshiper can also attend the church service on Zoom Platform.

Mission

Our mission and vision are based on the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that He commanded His Disciples to go into the World through preaching and making disciples from all nations/ Matt 28:18-20, Mark 16:15. We desire to live in the Love and Grace of Triune God as one body of Christ for His mission. We pray that our community will be an environment where people can experience transformation worship, life giving relationship with God, and with one another. We preach, teach, and confess that our Lord Jesus Christ crucified, risen, and will come again. 

Vision

• To reach out our community with the Gospel of Christ in our native language.
• Encourage our Christian community to experience the love, to grow in their relationship with Jesus, to be a transformed and dedicated follower of Christ, and to be servant of each other in love and care.
